Kyrgyz FM and Chinese ambassador discuss trade and economic issues

Bishkek, Nov. 22, 2022 /Kabar/. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Jeenbek Kulubaev and Chinese Ambassador to the Kyrgyz Republic Du Dewen discussed trade and economic issues, the Kyrgyz Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported. An exchange of views took place on topical issues on the bilateral agenda, the intensification of trade and economic cooperation, the implementation of infrastructure projects at the expense of grant funds from the Chinese government. The parties also discussed issues of cooperation in a multilateral format, as well as plans for holding important bilateral events. Kulubaev outlined the problems associated with the idle cargo of Kyrgyz cargo carriers in the seaports of China, optimization of checkpoints in order to ensure regular cargo flow between Kyrgyzstan and China.
