Kyrgyz company to supply lamb meat to UAE

The ministry said that the market for meat and meat products is an investment-attractive industry for Kyrgyzstan, since the natural and climatic conditions of the republic and the ability of people to breed livestock contribute to the development of livestock and the production of cheap, but environmentally friendly products that meet the requirements of halal product. Thus, with the assistance of the Center for the Development of the Halal Industry under the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic, a contract was signed between the Al Sileitiin Trading Company (UAE) and the domestic company Toro LLC for the monthly supply of freshly chilled halal-adal lamb to the UAE. The export supply of mutton will be carried out by Toro LLC in three stages, with a total volume of 50 to 100 tons. This event can provide a positive impetus to the development of agriculture in the Kyrgyz Republic as a whole. In the structure of UAE imports, the share of meat and meat by-products accounts for more than 10.3% of imports, which makes the UAE a major importer of meat products, the import of which can also be provided with supplies from Kyrgyzstan.
