Kyrgyz Cabinet chairman takes part in meeting of President of Armenia with heads of government of EAEU

Bishkek, Oct. 21, 2022. / Kabar /. Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturian received the heads of government, who arrived in Yerevan to participate in the regular meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council. The meeting was attended by Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Zhaparov, who chairs the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council this year.
The meeting participants discussed issues of further development of integration processes in the Eurasian space, the importance of strengthening cooperation. Akylbek Zhaparov conveyed to Vahagn Khachaturian the greetings and best wishes from President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov.
He also expressed gratitude for the active participation of the Armenian side in the international events held by our country within the framework of the Kyrgyz chairmanship in the bodies of the Eurasian Economic Union.
“The day before, my colleagues and I considered solutions on topical issues of integration, including the issue of financing cooperative industrial projects. In my opinion, by developing industrial cooperation, we are entering a new level of development of integration within the EAEU. The Kyrgyz Republic, as the presiding country in the bodies of the Eurasian Economic Union, takes an active part in deepening the Eurasian integration and completing the formation of a common market for goods, services, capital and labor. Within the framework of the tasks outlined by the president of the Kyrgyz Republic in his address to the heads of the Union Member States at the beginning of this year, a lot of work has been done to implement the measures laid down in the Development Strategy of the integration association until 2025. At the same time, global challenges and threats require us to increase our activity in the implementation of this Strategy. I am sure that thanks to joint efforts and well-coordinated work, we will achieve our ambitious goals,” Akylbek Zhaparov said.
