Kyrgyz ambassador Musa Dzhamanbaev meets with diplomatic corps of Uzbekistan

In connection with the start of the diplomatic mission in the country, Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Uzbekistan Musa Dzhamanbaev held a number of meetings with the heads of diplomatic missions of Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Russia, China, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Japan, Korea and Belarus. The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic said that during the meetings, topical issues of the development of bilateral cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the above-mentioned countries in the political, trade, economic, transport and logistics, water and energy, tourism and humanitarian spheres were considered. Dzhamanbaev told his colleagues in detail about the ongoing positive transformations in the Kyrgyz Republic and expressed his readiness to make every effort to further build up the entire range of bilateral relations for the benefit of our friendly peoples. The heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Tashkent expressed their mutual commitment to further expand and deepen the multifaceted partnership with the Kyrgyz Republic. Dzhamanbaev discussed the implementation of infrastructure projects for the construction of the Kambarata HPP-1 and the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway, as well as the expansion of bilateral industrial cooperation with the above-mentioned countries. An exchange of views also took place on promising areas of regional partnership based on common long-term interests, in this context, it was reported on the planned holding of a Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia in Kyrgyzstan. Following the talks, the heads of diplomatic missions reached an agreement to continue intensive business contacts on a wide range of issues of bilateral and regional cooperation.
