Kuwaiti Ambassador hosts farewell party

Manama, Apr28(BNA)Kuwaiti Ambassador and Dean of the Diplomatic Corps Shaikh Azzam Mubarak Al-Sabah today hosted a farewell party in honour of outgoing Bangladeshi Ambassador Mohammed Ali Akbar. The ceremony was also attended by all ambassadors accredited to the Kingdom of Bahrain. Shaikh Azzam addressed the ceremony on behalf of the diplomatic corps, commending the Bangladeshi ambassador for his efforts during his tenure in Bahrain to bolster cooperation. The Bangladeshi ambassador thanked all diplomatic missions for their fruitful cooperation, inviting all ambassadors to visit his country. He hailed good relations bonding Bahrain and Bangladesh. In a statement to Bahrain News Agency (BNA), he described Bahrain as his second motherland, adding that he would soon return to the Kingdom as his son is enrolled in a Bahraini university. A H N
