Bishkek, July 21, 2022. /Kabar/. Korean businessmen intend to develop medicine and sports in Kyrgyzstan, the Tourism Development Support Fund of Kyrgyzstan said. Three memorandums on cooperation in tourism signed in Seoul after a large-scale business forum, where Korean businessmen were presented the tourist potential of Kyrgyzstan. "Korean investors are ready to work in the development of sanatorium treatment, sports tourism, promotion of medical tourism, beauty-tours and wellness-travels (health tourism). Their interest strengthened after presentation of projects of the Tourism Development Support Fund of Kyrgyzstan, presented by its President Elena Kalashnikova and Managing Director Kairat Itibaev," the report says. Among other things, a memorandum of understanding and cooperation was signed with the AGBA - American General Business Association, which represents the interests of American entrepreneurs in the Republic of Korea. The Tourism Development Support Fund of Kyrgyzstan and AGBA will cooperate in the promotion of domestic companies in the securities market. Another document is memorandum on cooperation with the largest conglomerate of tour operators in Korea Hana tour. With the support of Korean partners, the Fund will hold in Seoul a presentation for professional participants of the Korean market and will take part in several large-scale events in the field of sustainable tourism development. One more document is signed between the Tourism Development Support Fund and the Seoul Tourism Association (STA) - on cooperation in the development of Kyrgyz tourism in the Korean market.
