KOICA, Emergency Ministry and Korean company sign tripartite MoU

Bishkek, Aug. 12, 2022. / Kabar /. Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) Representative Office in the Kyrgyz Republic, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic (MES KR) and the Korean company “Interact” signed on Aug. 9, 2022, a tripartite memorandum of understanding regarding cooperation within the framework of the project “Firefighting Ability Enhancement by XR Firefighting Training System Development”.
Within the framework of this project, it is planned to launch the XR training system, developed by the innovative Korean company “Interact” for training firefighters and instructors of MES KR. It is expected that this project will enhance professional capabilities of firefighters by conducting fire and rescue training in various situations using virtual reality.
Minister of Emergency Situations, Boobek Ajikeev; Ambassador of the Republic of Korea, Lee Wonjae; Country Director of KOICA, Yi Jongsu; and CEO of “Interact”, Kwon Nam-Hyeok took part in the signing ceremony.
