King's humanitarian initiatives cover all areas, reinforce relations

Cairo, Nov. 15 (BNA): Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Arab Republic of Egypt, and Permanent Representative of the Kingdom to the Arab League, has extended his deepest gratitude and appreciation to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the Kingdom of Bahrain and Honorary President of the Royal Charity Organization (RCO).
This came on the occasion of the launch of cooperation and a partnership agreement between the Royal Charity Organization and Grand Al Azhar’s Bait Al Zakat in Egypt to build two compounds and two health centers in the sisterly State of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
The Ambassador stressed that HM’s ongoing initiatives in support of the development, charitable and humanitarian projects in various brotherly and friendly countries are reflective of His Majesty’s keenness to extend the bridges of cooperation and solidarity with all and indicative of Bahrain’s close and distinguished relations with the Arab Republic of Egypt.
In this regard, the ambassador also praised the kind support of His Royal Highness Prime Minister, Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister.
He also praised Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa’s pioneering efforts and achievements in the humanitarian, relief and charity fields and the successful achievements made by the Royal Charity Organization at home and abroad, saying that they indicate Bahrain’s pioneering role in this field in the light of HM’s support for the RCO as one of the royal projects whose impact went beyond Bahrain to reach the whole world.
In this context, he pointed to Bahrain’s winning of the 1st rank on the Arab and Gulf levels and the 13th internationally on the donation index, which shows the extent and size of the relief and humanitarian efforts the Kingdom of Bahrain is exerting in all voluntary work fields.
He said the new project comes in the light of the close relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Grand Al Azhar and in appreciation of Al Azhar’s role in spreading the values of moderation.
"The Bahrain Egyptian Primary School has been recently opened in Al Sharqia province and administrative and technical support has been offered to Al Azhar’s Bait Al Zakat, which truly translates the fraternal cooperation and the solid and deep rooted bilateral relations linking the two brotherly countries at the level of leaderships, governments and peoples.
The Ambassador said he was pleased to see Bahrain contributing to some sustainable development projects to cater for the people’s educational and medical needs in the prestigious Arab Republic of Egypt to which the people of Bahrain feel grateful in appreciation of the praiseworthy services it rendered to the Arab world.
The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, expressed delight over the advanced level of ties reached by the two brotherly countries at all levels and in all fields thanks to the wise leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and his brother President Abdul Fattah Al Sisi.
