Kazakh president seeks to expand G20

Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev has proposed to extend the G20, while speaking at a ceremony in Astana to mark the 20th anniversary of Kazakh independence.
"The global anti-crisis plan has not been developed yet," he said today. "I propose to expand the G20 and create a new project G-global and to discuss the global anti-crisis plan."
Nazarbayev also offered to hold the world's anti-crisis conference based on the Astana Economic Forum in Astana in 2012.
The Fifth Astana Economic Forum will be held on May 22-24.
G20 is an informal organization, uniting countries from different regions with various levels of economic development.
