Justice Independence Cornerstone for Sustainable Development - Minister

Doha May 06 (QNA) - HE the Minister of Economy and Finance Yousuf Hussein Kamal has underlined as significant the rule of law for the success of economic development and its sustainability in a changing world. HE the minister said on Sunday in a specialized session as part of Qatar Law Forum, on "legal professionalism" that the trade exchange gave the legal issues a universal nature and therefore the solutions and findings proposed by the participants in this forum will be of a universal nature, HE the Minister noted. He stressed that the flourishing economy and sustainable development can only be achieved in a society or a state where provisions of law are applied with transparency. He said “We in Qatar are always adhering to clear standards of justice, fairness and judicial independence as a cornerstone for sustainable economic development and success in attracting investments for the good and prosperity of the society.
