Jubouri, German Ambassador Discuss Ways Of Cooperation With The Int'l Community To Hunt Down Daesh

BAGHDAD, IRAQ (NINA) – House Speaker, Salim al-Jubouri discussed with German Ambassador to Iraq Cyril Nunn the security and political situation in Iraq and the region, ways of cooperation between the international community to pursue terrorist gangs and agree on a comprehensive strategy to eradicate this thought. Al-Jubouri said during the meeting that "accelerating the dialogue and finding common visions and understandings agreed upon by all parties is necessary, especially as Iraq is on a new stage through which to seek permanent stability and the development of economic structures and improve the service and living conditions of the citizen." A statement issued by Jubouri's Office said, "The two sides discussed developments in Iraqi affairs and the importance of adopting a serious dialogue to resolve all outstanding problems, the most prominent of which is the crisis between Baghdad and Erbil," The Speaker of the House of Representatives appreciated Germany's role in the international coalition in providing support and aid to Iraq during its war against terrorism, stressing that the relations between the two countries are at a distinct stage and Iraq is keen to develop them towards wider horizons./ End
