Jordan, Qatar Discuss Cooperation

Amman, February 11 (QNA) - Jordanian Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour met here today with HE Qatari Minister of Culture Arts and Heritage, Hamad Bin Abdulaziz Al Kuwari, who is currently visiting Amman to participate in the WTO Arab Consultative Forum. During the meeting they reviewed the relations between the two countries in addition to the importance of the WTO Arab Consultative Forum that kicked off today, under the auspices of Jordan's King Abdullah II. HE Dr. Al-Kuwari who is also the president of the 13th UN Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), stressed that the world is witnessing fundamental changes, and therefore the UNCTAD, under the presidency of the State of Qatar, is working to play a big role to contribute to the global efforts aimed to address the new challenges taking place in today's world and affecting the future as well. The meeting was attended by Jordan's minister of Industry and Commerce Hatim Al-Halawani and Minister of Culture Sami Ma'ayteh in addition to The Charge' d' Affaires at the Qatari Embassy in Amman Saad bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud .
