Japan's Crown Prince to visit Thailand

BANGKOK, June 5 (TNA) - His Royal Highness Crown Prince Naruhito of Japan is scheduled to pay a state visit to Thailand from June 25-27 as the guest of the Thai government. During the three-day royal trip to Thailand, the Japanese Crown Prince will be granted an audience with His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej and will also meet Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. Thai Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra will then be granted an audience with His Royal Highness Crown Prince Naruhito. The Japanese Crown Prince is also scheduled to visit a history study centre and archaeological sites in Thailand's old capital, Ayutthaya province, in the central region, and to meet the Japanese community in Thailand. The upcoming trip is His Royal Highness Crown Prince Naruhito's fourth visit to Thailand, after his royal visits to the Thai Kingdom in 1980, 1987 and 1994. (TNA)
