Japan allocates grants for number of projects in medicine and education spheres in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek / Kabar /. Japan has allocated grants for a number of projects in the field of medicine and education in the Kyrgyz Republic, the Embassy of Japan reported.
The signing ceremony of grant contracts under the grant program of the Japanese government "Grass Roots and Human Security" was held on Wednesday.
Thus, it is planned to implement a number of projects on the territory of Kyrgyzstan:
The project for the provision of medical equipment to the Center for General Medical Practice of the Jeti-Oguz region. Within the framework of this project, the Center for General Medical Practice of the Jeti-Oguz region will be equipped with a Pentax video endoscopic expert system for a total of USD 90,864.
The project for the provision of medical equipment for the Talas Regional United Hospital. As part of this project, the Talas Regional United Hospital will receive a Philips image intensifier tube and an operating lamp for a total of USD 115,911.
The project to improve learning conditions in educational institutions of the Bel Aiyl Okmotu of the Nookat district of the Osh region. Within the framework of this project, two secondary schools will be provided with school furniture. In addition, it is planned to build a boiler house and install a heating boiler that will supply heat to the Kenesh secondary school and the Kun Baldary preschool educational institution. The total amount of this project is USD 97 thousand 367.
Japanese Ambassador Maeda noted that this grant program is aimed at meeting the basic needs and needs of the local population by improving social infrastructure and providing access to services such as primary and pre-school education, health care and social protection.
