Jaffari Endowments condemns attack against patrol

Manama, Aug. 15 (BNA): The Jaffari Endowments Directorate has strongly condemned Friday’s Molotov attack by evil terrorists against a security patrol while securing Al-Ghadeer Mosque in Sanad and protecting worshippers, which resulted in the patrol’s vehicles being completely gutted, without any injuries reported. Assaulting the security personnel is a heinous criminal act that contravenes Islamic precepts, human values and all laws norms, as well as the Bahraini people’s deep-rooted values of tolerance, fraternity, solidarity and gratitude, the directorate said in a statement. The security forces should have been praised and honoured for their sacrifices and efforts to ensure the security of mosques and worshippers across the nation, the statement added. While strongly denouncing such gruesome criminal acts, the Jaffari Endowments Directorate called on all parties to openly condemn such heinous acts and do what is necessary to prevent their non-recurrence, stressing that they are alien to the nature of the Bahraini society which, it said, has always been committed to the values of peaceful co-existence and diversity. The directorate pointed out that the critical situation and the extraordinary conditions the region is going through require concerted efforts to ensure the security and stability of everybody, being the best strategic approach to overcome them safely and peacefully. The panel praised the Interior Ministry’s positive response with its requests to step up security measures to ensure the security and tranquility for worshippers in mosques across the kingdom, voicing pride in the efforts of the ministry in this regard.
