Jaafari, British Ambassador Discuss Regional And International Situations And Bilateral Relations

Baghdad, Iraq (NINA) - Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari reviewed today in Baghdad with British Ambassador Frank Baker the overall regional and international situation and efforts exerted to ease the tension and crises experienced by the region. "During the meeting, the two sides stressed the need for continuing coordination and diplomatic cooperation, opening more horizons for joint action and contributing to the reconstruction of the infrastructure of Iraqi cities," a foreign ministry statement said. They also discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation, face common dangers and discuss the most important issues of concern to the two friendly countries. / End
