IV Int'l Issyk-Kul Forum named after Chyngyz Aitmatov held in Ankara

Bishkek, June 10, 2021. / Kabar /. Presidents of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov and Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan took part in the closing ceremony of the IV International Issyk-Kul Forum named after Chyngyz Aitmatov held in the Turkish capital city of Ankara.
After the heads of state arrived at the event, the anthems of Kyrgyzstan and Turkey were played.
Further, the forum participants were shown a video about the work of Chyngyz Aitmatov and his great role in the development of world culture and literature.
The first word was given to Sadyr Zhaparov, who expressed gratitude to the Turkish people and Recep Tayyip Erdogan for organizing the Issyk-Kul Forum, confirming that the glorification of the world heritage of the great writer continues.
"The emergence of Chyngyz Aitmatov on the literary scene has impressed millions of readers on five continents. The birth of a talented writer from the Kyrgyz nation who raised the prestige of the entire Turkic-speaking world came as a surprise. He made an unprecedented leap in the history of the Central Asian republics in the twentieth century," the Kyrgyz leader noted.
He spoke briefly about the history of this forum, which began in 1986 by Chyngyz Aitmatov himself, who first organized an informal meeting of world intellectuals to discuss future global problems of humanity and exchange views on them on the shores of Issyk-Kul Lake.
The Kyrgyz president noted that the World Nomad Games have become a platform for the dissemination of traditions in the universe. He added these games are an attempt to preserve an important part of the cultural heritage of nomadic civilization. He wished good luck to the 4th World Nomad Games to be held in Turkey next year.
"Another of Aitmatov's lessons is the ecological problem expressed in depictions of the snow leopard Dzhabars, the she-wolf Akbara, the Aral Sea and the glaciers. Aitmatov's work laid the foundation for a fundamentally new view of it. Our Aitmatov is a man who contributed to the planetary consciousness. The great thoughts of the great writer of the Turkic peoples deserve eternal praise," said President Sadyr Zhaparov, urging everyone to extend Aitmatov's ideas to all mankind.
After the speeches, the organizers solemnly handed the presidents the final document of the Forum.
