Iraq Ranks 22nd Among The Countries Most Affected By Coronavirus Pandemic

Baghdad / NINA / - Iraq ranked 22nd in the table of countries most affected by the Coronavirus pandemic in terms of the number of infections. The American Johns Hopkins University said in its daily report: "Iraq has recorded, as of Saturday morning, 1,616,384 confirmed cases of the pandemic." The university, which is concerned with following up on the developments of the pandemic, indicated: "The world has so far recorded more than 198 million cases of Covid-19, while the number of deaths has reached 4,225,439." It added, "America still occupies the first place in the table of the most affected countries, as the number of infections has reached more than 35 million, followed by India, then Brazil, Russia and France, and each of these countries recorded more than six million confirmed cases of the Coronavirus." / End
