BAGHDAD, IRAQ (NINA) - Iraq has expressed its great appreciation to the friendly government and people of Greece for standing by Iraq in its fight against terrorism. "The Iraqi ambassador to Athens, Ghazi Taher Zebari met with Greek President Prokopis Pavlopoulos at the presidential palace on the occasion of the completion of the ambassador's work," a foreign ministry statement said. Zebari expressed "great appreciation to the friendly government and people of Greece for standing by Iraq in its fight against terrorism," stressing that Iraq, after liberating all its territory from terrorist Daesh gangs, is looking forward to strengthening cooperation with Greece in all fields.
