Iraq, Egypt Discuss A Mechanism For Preparing Joint Supreme Committee Meetings

Baghdad / NINA /- Iraq and Egypt discussed the mechanism for preparing and coordinating the meetings of the joint supreme committee of the two countries, which will conduct its work in Baghdad next Saturday under the chairmanship of the prime ministers of the two countries. A foreign ministry statement that the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) received a copy of it, said today "The Senior Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Abdul Karim Hashem Mustafa, met with the Egyptian Assistant Foreign Minister for Arab Affairs, Yasser Othman, and the two sides discussed bilateral relations and ways to improve the prospects for cooperation between Baghdad and Cairo."
