Iraq To Discuss Developing Institutional Capacities Of The Iraqi State With Canada

Baghdad, Iraq (NINA) - The Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, Mahdi Al-Alak, discussed with the Executive Director of the Canadian Institute of Governance Steve Terni, ways to develop the institutional capacities of the Iraqi state at the three levels of federal government, decentralization and crisis management in the provinces. Al-Alak said during the meeting, according to a statement today, that "institutional development is one of the priorities of the Iraqi government, pointing out the importance of alert to the mechanism of choice for the workshop candidates to be held in Baghdad for liberated provinces such as Anbar, Salahuddin, Nineveh and Diyala." While Terni reviewed an overview of the coexistence program and training workshops for leading cadres in the Iraqi provinces, which were recently freed from Daesh organization and explain the stages of training and the importance of including all Iraqi components./ End
