Iraq, China Discuss The Two Countries' Nominations For A Number Of Int’l Bodies And UN Committees

Baghdad / NINA /- Iraq and China discussed the two countries’ nominations for a number of international bodies and United Nations committees. A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs today, which the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) received a copy of it, stated that “the head of human rights department in the ministry, Muhammad Saheb Majeed met with the Chinese ambassador Zhang Tao who handed over a letter of thanks addressed to Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein from his counterpart, Foreign Minister of People's China. During the meeting, the two sides discussed a number of common issues related to human rights, including: the two countries' nominations for a number of international bodies and United Nations committees. / End
