Iran's interference nationwide condemnation lauded

Manama, Aug. 3 (BNA): Al Ayam newspaper said the massive rejection of Iranian interference in the Kingdom of Bahrain's internal affairs was a clear message. The newspaper lauded Bahrain's strong, cohesive society, tolerant citizens and capability of defending its people and maintaining its national unity and safeguarding its accomplishments under the leadership of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. The newspaper in its commentary "National stances immortalized by history" commended the patriotic stances rejecting Iranian meddling launched by Interior Minister Lt-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa on July 23. The newspaper commended the minister's historic speech addressed to the loyal people of Bahrain, in which he urged all the loyal Bahraini people to denounce in unison the irresponsible Iranian interference and prying into Bahrain's local affairs. The minister is a proven first-class compatriot whose genuine Arab principles and philosophy uphold the right path as the best means to achieve set objectives. His work reflects sincere patriotic sentiment, genuine Arab policy, sufficient expertise, confidence and open modern thinking, Al Ayam said. Following the minister's lead, the whole nation – all families, tribes, associations, clubs, institutions, NGOs, societies and individuals - stood up in response and strongly condemned and denounced the blatant Iranian interference in the country's internal affairs, it added. The end result was an unsurpassed massive nationwide cohesive people's stance, Al Ayam said.
