Iran's hostile intentions divulged

Manama, Feb. 4 (BNA): The BDF Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa has reaffirmed the BDF's constant entrenched position of defending our brethren, friends and supporting the right cause of justice and peace, alluding to the BDF's key role in international peacekeeping and counter-terrorism operations. The Field Marshall emphasized that the Gulf Union will protect the Member States and fortify them in view of some shocking Western stances seeking to reshape the Middle East map, adding that the current alliances make it imperative for us to avail of the opportunities and create Gulf alliances with Asian powers, the diversification of the Gulf's historic alliances with the western hemisphere and pluralization of east-west alliances. Speaking to Al Ayam daily, the Commander-in-Chief divulged the hostile seditionist intentions of the Iranian regime that exudes provocative political discourse vis-a-vis the neighboring countries. He revealed Iran's ceaseless exploitation of, and investing in, its proxies to implement its conspiracies and fostering and patronizing its destructive sectarian vassals in the region to spearhead the implementation of Iranian plots. He hailed HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa The Supreme Commander over the designation of 17th December each year as Commemoration Day in recognition of the BDF men's sacrifices throughout the past forty years since its establishment. He hailed the resolve and wisdom of Their Majesties and Their Highnesses the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council of (GCC) States who consolidated the military and security cooperation spearheaded by the GCC Joint Peninsula Shield Forces formed on May, 26, 1981 which participated in the State of Kuwait's liberation in 1991 and maintained the Kingdom of Bahrain's security and stability in 2011, the Combined Air Force Operations Centre, and the Naval Task Force81 affiliated to the GCC Combined Naval Operations Centre.
