Iranian, Iraqi Defense Ministers Sign MoU For Military Cooperation

TEHRAN, Iran (NINA) - Iranian and Iraqi defense ministers on Sunday signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation between the two countries in the defense-military field. The memorandum of understanding signed by Brigadier General Hussein Dehqan and Irfan Al-Hayali includes defense and military cooperation in various fields between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Iraq. "Among the axes that have been agreed upon, the development of cooperation and exchange of experiences in the fight against terrorism and extremism, border security and training, logistics, technical and military support."
