Iranian envoy to IAEA: Amano due in Tehran for one-day nuclear talks

Azerbaijan, Baku, May 20/ Trend F.Milad/ IAEA Director General, Yukiya Amano, will arrive in Iran tonight for a one-day stay to negotiate with Iranian officials. He is scheduled to hold talks with Iran's chief nuclear negotiator, Saeed Jalili, and Iran's ambassador to the IAEA, Ali Asghar Soltanieh, the Fars News Agency reported. IAEA chief inspector, Hermann Nackaerts, and Assistant Director General for Policy and IAEA Chef de Cabinet, Rafael Grossi, will accompany Amano. Amano's visit comes ahead of a crunch meeting in Baghdad on May 23 between Tehran and a group of world powers to discuss concerns over Iran's suspected nuclear weapons drive.
