Iran plans to bring back past relations with US - Minister

Azerbaijan, Baku, May 3 / Trend S.Isayev, T. Jafarov/
Iran will work to bring the relations with the U.S. to to where they were in the past, Islamic Republic's Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi said in an intervew with Austrian Press Agency (APA), Mehr reported.
He added that the carried out work should be in interests of both parties. Salehi expressed hope that concrete steps will be undertaken following the "Iran-Six powers" negotiations in Baghdad this month.
Baghdad will host the next round of "Iran-Six powers" nuclear talks on May 23. Previous talks were held in Turkey's Istanbul on April 14.
Iran's chief nuclear negotiator Saeed Jalili said that the Baghdad meeting would center on first nuclear disarmament, second the theory of the Islamic Republic of Iran's Leader, which is a clear view and can serve as a major approach towards nuclear disarmament, third on preventing proliferation of the nuclear weapons which is amongst major issues of cooperation and fourth on peaceful use of the nuclear technology as a given and indispensible right of the NPT member states.
Salehi also noted that the West continues to use Iran's nuclear program as a pressure tool, and said that it has to be stopped.
