Iran continues JCPOA negotiations - Deputy FM

TEHRAN, Iran, May.26
Trend:
The negotiations for the revival of the nuclear agreement will continue until Iran's interests are provided, said Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister about the JCPOA Joint Commission meeting in Vienna.
The fifth round of negotiations with the JCPOA Joint Commission includes Iran and 4+1 countries started and had the first session the work continues by working groups in the fields of nuclear, removing sanctions and the third workgroup relates to the process of implementing agreements, said Abbas Araghchi, Trend reports citing IRNA.
"All sides are serious and attend negotiations, many delegations are hoping that this round would be the last negotiation and we reach a conclusion, it is possible to hope for that but one should be cautious," he said.
"The remaining topics that require finalized decision are important issues, in previous rounds, we progressed in drafting text and we will improve the work further in this round, however, the remaining issues are key topics that need to be decided," Araghchi noted.
"I would like to emphasize again that any final decision is made in Tehran, our responsibility is as a broker for the system to progress negotiations first and then report the result. The appropriate authorities in Tehran would make decisions and announce to us how to act," he added.
