Investment opportunities of Kyrgyzstan's regions presented in Yekaterinburg

Bishkek, June 9, 2022. /Kabar/. Within the framework of the Ninth Russia-Kyrgyzstan Interregional Conference, representatives of the two countries discussed strengthening interregional cooperation in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), the Ministry of Economy of Kyrgyzstan said. The participants studied the preparation of the Program for Development of Interregional and Border Cooperation of EAEU member states, including the legal basis for interregional cooperation and financial instruments to support joint interregional projects, and made their proposals. In addition, representatives of Kyrgyzstan and Russia discuss opportunities for business development between the regions, presenting successful practices of interregional trade and economic cooperation. Russian business was shown the investment opportunities of Osh, Talas, Jalal-Abad, and Naryn Oblasts. On the other hand, businessmen from Kyrgyzstan were shown the priority areas for the development of the economy of Russian regions. Besides, the experience of Russian health care in the export of medical services was shown.
