Investment Conference in Darfur by Year End

Doha, April 07 (QNA) - President of the Darfur Regional Authority Dr. Tijani Sese has announced an Investment Conference in Darfur organized by the regional authority in cooperation with the Supreme Council for Investment in Sudan to be held at the end of the year. Dr. Sese said in a speech he delivered at the international donors' conference for the reconstruction and development of Darfur said that the upcoming investment conference comes in response to the strong desire expressed by the foreign capital to invest in Darfur because of its diverse natural resources. He expressed the hope that the investment conference in Darfur would be a gateway to explore many opportunities offered by the region for investors. He said that the people of Darfur are now waiting for the support of the donors' conference in Doha to achieve the sustainable development strategy in the region.(QNA)
