Invest in Culture Conference announced

Manama, Jan.10- (BNA): Bahrain will host international conference on cultural investments on January 19. The international event will be held under the slogan "Investing in Culture: business and social impact: Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) is organising the conference in cooperation with French Foundation " THINKERS and DOERS " and the Manama-based Arab Regional Centre for World Heritage. Details of the upcoming event were unveiled in a press conference which was attended by BACA President Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al-Khalifa, ARCWH director Dr. Mounir Bouchenaki, Amandine Lepoutre, founder and Chief Executive Officer of THINKERS and DOERS, cultural officials and the media. The conference will be held at the Bahrain National Theatre, the Bahrain National Museum and Arab Regional Centre for World Heritage. The event is expected to attract more than three-hundred investors, officials representing the public and private sectors, decision-makers, bank officials and owners of cultural and creative projects. BACA President Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al-Khalifa stressed the importance of investing in culture, outlining Bahrain's projects and achievements. She stressed particularly the Bahrain National Theatre, a cultural milestone which was constructed with the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa.
