Interior Ministry leads martyr of duty funeral

Manama, Aug. 31 (BNA): Interior Lt-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa led the police funeral held an the Police Fort for the martyr of duty Wajdi Saleh Mohsen, who died as a result of the Karana terrorist blast on August 28. The funeral started with the recitations from the Holy Quran and then the coffin of the martyr was brought in, accompanied by the funeral guards. The Interior Minister handed the MOI flag for the family of the deceased and prayed for his soul to rest in peace. He led the prayer at the Police Fort mosque. After the end of the police funeral, the body of the martyr was taken to his final resting place. The minister offered sincere condolences to the family of the martyr, his relatives, colleagues and loyal Bahrainis, praying to Allah Almighty to rest his soul in eternal peace.
