Interior Minister receives US navy officials

Manama, Aug. 24 (BNA): Interior Minister, Lt-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa received today Commander of the US Naval Forces Central Command and the US5th Fleet Vice Admiral John W. Miller on the occasion of his retirement and completion of his work period in Bahrain. The US official presented to the Interior Minister his successor Admiral Kevin Donegan. The meeting was attended by Chief of Public Security, Major-General Tariq Al Hassan, US Ambassador to Bahrain William Roebuck and the Coast Guard Commander. The Interior Minister praised the efforts of Vice Admiral John W. Miller to boost bilateral relations and cooperation, wishing all the best to Admiral Kevin Donegan in his new duties.
