Interior Minister receives UAE official

Manama, March 31 (BNA)-- Interior Minister Lieutenant General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa received today Director General of the Emirates Centre for Strategic Studies and Research Dr. Jamal Sanad Al Suwaidi, in the presence of Public Security Chief Major General Taraq Al-Hassan. He lauded Dr. Al Suwaidi's key role in running the centre as well as his outstanding intellectual contributions and wealth of experience in political, strategic and academic studies at the local and regional level. Dr. Al Suwaidi presented the Interior Minister with a copy of the centre's last publication on the American era, commending the Interior Minister's support to the studies and research institutions. The meeting was attended by Shura Council member Abdulrahman Jamshir and President of Bahrain Journalists Association Monis Al Mardi.
