Interior Minister receives Singaporean Minister

Manama, Apr. 22 (BNA): Interior Minister Lt-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa received on Wednesday Minister in the Singaporean Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister in the Ministry of Home Affairs and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Masagos Zulkifli. The meeting was attended by Chief of Public Security, Major-General Tariq Al Hassan and Interior Ministry Undersecretary, Major-General Khalid Al Absi. The Minister of Interior welcomed the guest, hailing the historic ties between Bahrain and Singapore as part of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the beginning of diplomatic ties between the two countries. He hoped for further reinforcement of coordination and cooperation between the two friendly countries. The meeting discussed bilateral ties and topics of common interest. The Singaporean official hailed the strong relations between the two countries and hoped for further cooperation and exchange of expertise.
