Interior minister receives IISS-ME executive director

Manama, May 25 (BNA): Interior Minister Lt-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa received here today Executive Director of the International Institute for Strategic Studies in the Middle East (IISS-ME) Sir John Jenkins, in the presence of Chief of Public Security Major-General Tariq Al Hassan. The minister wished IISS-ME Executive Director all the best in his new post and was briefed about IISS’s upcoming prgrammes. He affirmed the ministry's keenness on enhancing cooperation to achieve the common goals. He hailed IISS's efforts at organising the Manama Dialogue that reached its 10th edition and gained high international reputation. The IISS-ME Executive Director expressed his thanks and appreciation to the minister for his support to studies and research organisations and wished Bahrain all the best.
