Interior Minister receives capital governor

Manama, Apr. 14 (BNA): Interior Minister Lt-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa received here today Capital Governor Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa. The minister was briefed on the annual report of the governorate for 2014. The report highlighted the governorate’s activities and programmes. It revealed that the governorate had organised 885 visits to list old houses that could put the safety of the public at risk. It also showed that 402 out of 864 violations found were removed. The Interior Minister hailed the efforts of the Governor in the implementation of development plans to provide the requirements of citizens and interact with them to promote security and stability. The Governor expressed thanks and appreciation to the Interior Minister for his support. He said that the report was drafted as part of the directives of the Interior Minister to interact with the residents of the governorate. The report was written in both Arabic and English.
