Interior Minister leads martyrs of duty funeral procession

Manama, July 30 (BNA): Minister of Interior Lt-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa today led the police funeral procession held at the Police Fort for the martyrs of duty Naweed Ahmed Nazar and Hamid Rasool Arif, whose lives were claimed in Sitra terrorist blast on July 28. Pakistan's Ambassador and families of the martyrs were present at the event. After reciting few verses of the Holy Quran, Interior Minister, in a speech delivered on behalf of the Interior Ministry personnel, reminisced about the courage of the martyrs who have joint the procession of immortals. He vowed to continue what they died for, and to bring those terrorists who committed the heinous crime to justice. He offered deepest condolences to the families of the victims and wished the injured a speedy recovery. He pledged allegiance to the homeland under the leadership of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
