Interior minister discusses security coordination with Jordanian counterpart

Manama, Oct. 30 (BNA): Interior Minister, Lt-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa received his Jordanian counterpart Salama Hammad on Friday, in the presence of the Jordanian Ambassador to Bahrain, Mohammed Ali Siraj, Chief of Public Security, Major-General Tariq Al Hassan and the General Director of Interior Ministry Court, Major-General Eng. Riyadh Eid Abdullah. He welcomed his counterpart, stressing importance of ongoing security coordination between the two brotherly countries in facing regional challenges, hailing the strong and deep brotherly ties in the eras of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and his brother, His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al-Hussein The meeting discussed coordination and cooperation between the two countries and topics of common interest. The Jordanian official is in Bahrain to participate in the 11th session of the Manama Dialogue that commences on Friday.
