Information, Parliament Minister congratulates HM King Hamad

Manama, Dec.5 (BNA): Information and Parliament Affairs Minister Isa bin Abdulrahman Al-Hammadi congratulated His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa on the achievement of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, HM King’s Representative for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Supreme Council for Youth and Sport (SCYS) Chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) President, who won the second place in the Ironman 70.3 Middle East Championship (triathlon). He paid tribute to HM the King for attending the race, which reflects unwavering royal support to all sport events and activities which are organized in the Kingdom of Bahrain. "The support of the HM the King has contributed to a great extent to the development of the youth and sport movements in Bahrain", he said, commending the landmark achievements of national teams and clubs in various arenas and world championships. The minister congratulated HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa on the honourable performance he achieved in the international sporting event which was held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier. Al-Hammadi hailed the success of the event, crediting the efforts of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa to ensure the organization of the race in compliance with highest international standards accrediting world championships. He also lauded the high-level coordination and cooperation between all relevant agencies in organizing the championship in an honoubale way. .
