Information minister receives German ambassador

Manama, Dec. 3 (BNA): Information and Parliament Affairs Minister Isa bin Abdulrahman Al-Hammadi has lauded the outstanding deep-rooted Bahraini-German relations, and praised their steady growth in the political, economic, social and media fields. The minister was speaking as he received here today the newly-appointed German Ambassador to Bahrain Alfred Simms-Protz, and wished him successful diplomatic duties, which, he said, will contribute to developing the friendly Bahraini-German relations. Al-Hammadi reviewed with the ambassador ways to enhance joint cooperation and cooperation, as well as exchange of technical expertise in the information and communication sector. He also discussed with him issues of mutual concern, particularly regarding efforts to support peace and stability in the Middle East, and combat extremism and terrorism. Ambassador Alfred Simms-Protz expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to the Minister for the warm welcome accorded to him, and interest in bolstering bilateral relations, affirming his country's desire to strengthen cooperation ties with Bahrain to achieve the common interests of the two countries and their friendly peoples.
