Information Minister receives Bahraini Ambassador to Moscow

Manama, Sept. 6 (BNA): Information Affairs Minister Isa bin Abdulrahman Al Hammadi received the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Russian Federation Republic, Ahmed Abdulrahman Al Saati, and explored with him means of boosting cooperation and coordination in the media field and informing diplomatic circles and Russian and western media about the true facts of human rights, economic development as part of the ongoing reforms led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. The minister congratulated the recently-appointed ambassador on the Royal trust of appointing him on this position, wishing him success in the performance of his ambassadorial assignment in boosting the bilateral ties in all fields. The ambassador expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the minister for his reception and attentiveness to boosting cooperation with Russia to promote Bahrain's developmental interests and showcase its positive urbane image in regional and international media. He cited the various promotional activities arrayed for the upcoming period to boost the Bahraini-Russian relations, including the celebration this month of the 25th anniversary of exchanging bilateral diplomatic representation, the Joint Bahraini-Russian Business Council due to convene in Sochi City next month and the selection of Moscow as the next top for "This is Bahrain" festival commensurate with the advanced amicable ties between the two countries' leaderships and people-to-people relationship.
