Information Minister meets Jordanian counterpart

Amman: April 1 (BNA): Minister of State for Information Affairs, Government’s Official Spokesperson Sameera Ebrahim bin Rajab met the Jordanian Minister of State for Information Affairs, Official Spokesman of the Jordanian Government, Dr. Mohammed Hussain Al-Moumini. The meeting covered the latest political developments, the end of the crisis thanks to the wisdom of HM King Hamad, the constitutional reform over the past two years that boosted liberties and human rights, and the ongoing national dialogue aimed to achieve national public interest. The Minister said Bahrain experiences an era of security and peace and its economic establishments are functioning as usual. She added that the Kingdom is teeming with cultural, sports and youth activities all year round, the latest of which is the upcoming Formula One Race on April 4-6. The Minister praised Jordanian media professionals working in Bahrain which boosts mutual cooperation and partnership between the two countries in the field of media. The Jordanian Minister of Information who welcomed his Bahraini counterpart presented an overview about the reforms and development process in the Ministry and the media sector.
