Information Minister lauds media-parliamentary cooperation

Manama, April 6 (BNA)-- Information Affairs Minister Isa bin Abdulrahman Al Hammadi lauded the efforts of the Representatives Council (RC) in developing the legislative system, monitoring the activities of the executive branch and fostering the rule of law within the framework of the royal reform project. He was speaking during a visit to the Majlis of member of the Representatives Council Anas Ali Bu Hindi, the Deputy Head of the Legislative and Legal Affairs Committee. A number of Representatives Council members, directors and officials from the Information Affairs Authority also attended. The Information Affairs Minister underlined keenness of Bahraini mass media to cover the activities of the Representatives Council and highlight the ongoing development and reform achievements. MP Bu Hindi thanked the Information Affairs Minister for his keenness to promote cooperation with the Representatives Council members, in line with the leadership's directives to encourage communication between members of the executive and legislative branches on the basis of cooperation and mutual respect.
