Industry, Commerce Minister meets FIA President

Manama, Apr. 12 (BNA): Minister of Industry and Commerce Zayed bin Rashid Al Zayani received Bahrain's Foreign Investors Association (FIA) President Fadi Al Majali who introduced FIA's newly elected board. The two sides discussed topics related to the economic sector and investment activities in Bahrain. The minister highlighted the effort of the government to enhance national economy and attract regional and foreign investments under large facilities provided in order to localize these investments. "The country’s policies oriented to liberalise the national economy and encouraging investment environment place Bahrain at the forefront of the attractive countries for foreign investments," the minister said. "Bahrain has become regional headquarters for many global enterprises which contribute to increasing the rate contribution of the Industrial Sector in the Kingdom's GDP," he added.
