Industrialists Conference Wind Up in Doha

Doha, January 18 (QNA) -GCC industrialists called on Wednesday for increasing spending on research and development centers in GCC countries and for national scientific research strategies. A final statement issued by the 13th industrialists conference held in Doha, also called for encouraging cooperation between the industrial sector and research centers in GCC countries and stepping up research and development at industrial companies. It underlined the need to promote the culture of scientific research , innovation and development and encouraging the private sector to increase investment in research and development. (QNA)
