Hungary to host Days of Culture of Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Aug. 5, 2022. /Kabar/. Hungary will host on Aug. 11-14 the Days of Culture of Kyrgyzstan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan said Friday. The event is held on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Hungary and Kyrgyzstan. Thus, Kyrgyz Ambassador to Hungary Talantbek Kushchubekov met on Wednesday with new Deputy State Secretary for development of cooperation with Eastern countries of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary Adam Stifter. The sides discussed issues of bilateral cooperation. The Kyrgyz ambassador congratulated Stifter on appointment as deputy state secretary of the Hungarian Foreign Ministry and informed him about the planned gala concert on the occasion of the opening of the Days of Culture of Kyrgyzstan in Hungary on Aug. 11 at the Budapest Music Center. “Famous Kyrgyz musicians, Kyrgyz folklore and ethnographic ensemble Kambarkan, folk singers, performers on the komuz, manaschi, as well as a fashion show will perform there. In addition, an exhibition of works by Kyrgyz artists and masters of arts and crafts will be organized," the report said. Stifter expressed readiness for further joint work with the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Hungary and assured about the participation of the Hungarian side in the celebration of the Days of Culture of Kyrgyzstan in the country.
