HRH Princess Sabeeka congratulates Shaikha Fatima bint Mubarak

Manama, Nov. 19 (BNA): Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women, sent a cable of congratulations to President of UAE General Women's Union (GWU) Shaikha Fatima bint Mubarak, on the occasion of appointing Dr. Amal Abdullah Juma Karam Al Qubaisi as Speaker of the Federal National Council (FNC) on its 16th legislative chapter, as the first woman to hold this post in the Arab world. HRH Princess Sabeeka praised this Emirati women's honourable achievement that reflects the leadership's support and Shaikha Fatima's foresightedness and will promote Emirati women's role and active contribution to the national action march on all levels. She highlighted the efforts exerted at supporting women in UAE's sectors, under the leadership of UAE President Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
