HRH Premier's Court's President meets Sri Lankan Ambassador

Manama, Apr 6 (BNA) – His Royal Highness the Prime Minister's Court's President, Shaikh Hussam bin Isa Al Khalifa, today received Ambassador of the Republic of Sri Lanka to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Anwar Rajakaruna, and discussed the scheduled visit of the President of Sri Lanka to Bahrain on 28-30 April 2014. HRH Premier's Court's President expressed optimism of the visit that will further strengthen Bahraini-Sri Lankan relations and will open new cooperation horizons for the benefit of both countries and their people. He stressed bolstering joint cooperation in all fields, noting HRH Premier's visit to Sri Lanka in 2009 which reinforced bilateral relations and witnessed signing a number of memorandums of understanding in economic and investment areas. Sri Lankan Ambassador expressed his countries keenness to invigorate trade and investment cooperation, in line with both countries' sincere desire to consolidate bilateral relations in all fields. MJ
