HRH Premier urges GCC to rally ranks in confronting challenges

Manama, Aug. 23 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa called anew on the GCC countries to rally ranks in confronting other countries’ attempts to interfere in their internal affairs by laying bare false news aimed at undermining their security and stability. HRH the Premier was speaking as he received at Gudaibiya Palace today senior officials and members of the Representatives Council. He discussed with them local, regional and international issues, pointing out the need for a clear and unwavering GCC stance regarding regional challenges. HRH the Prime Minister emphasised the importance of unifying the GCC media rhetoric, being the bulwark against attempts to destabilise the GCC countries. He lauded success of the GCC countries in catering for the needs of its people, underscoring the need for the GCC mass media to highlight achievements and stress the importance of building on them. HRH the Premier emphasised that security in Bahrain will remain a top priority, calling on all to join hands to build the kingdom’s presence and future by taking advantage of all available resources and Bahraini competencies.
